Help our Mom beat cancer

Donation protected
When Ana, our mom, was first diagnosed with an aggressive stage IV gastric cancer, she immediately became more concerned of how it would affect us, her kids, rather than how it would affect her. That’s the type of person she is. Throughout our entire life, we’ve always seen her as an incredibly kind, selfless, and loving person. She has given so much to the world, and yet, she has often been given so little in return. And now, more than ever, she needs help. She’s worked by cleaning houses her entire life, but because of the harsh toll Chemo has taken on her body, she can no longer do so. Yet she tells us to not worry, and is consistently trying to find work as she takes care of our puppies: Coffee, Brady, and Sparky. She says they keep her company and make her happy; she wouldn’t be able to keep her spirits up without them. Additionally, she has rent to pay, huge medical bills, and her basic living expenses while supporting her kids as well.
The reality is this: our mom has cancer, is in the process of a divorce, and does not have enough money to undergo her full treatment as her medical insurance does not cover every expense. She has a couple great friends and her kids, but
we can only do so much when we are away at college—we’d love to go home, but she made us promise to stay and graduate. We need help. Our family has never wanted to ask for charity, we’ve always felt there was a way we could figure it out ourselves, but we’re now forced to swallow our pride for the one person that’s worth it: Mom. It goes without saying that any one of us would switch places with her in a heartbeat, she, more than anyone in our lives, deserves more. Still, we see her smile every day, we see her talk about hope for the future, we see her push on, and we feel the same love we’ve always felt from her. She’s strong, far stronger than we realized, far stronger than any of us could hope to become. She’s a fighter. So we beg, pray, and hope that you can help her continue to fight.
Anything helps (even if it’s just a prayer) thank you.
