Hello Family, Friends, and Supporters!!!
The 2015 AAU Basketball season has finally begun and our 5th grade girls are excited to display their skills on the court!
Team Sol's 5th Grade National Girls Basketball Team is a dynamic and highly competitive girls' basketball team in the Washington, DC-Metropolitan Area, who is establishing themselves as a force to be reckoned with, one game at a time. The lady ballers of Team Sol's 5th grade team are hard-working, focused, and talented young ladies who have high hopes of success for their futures. These young ladies are not just great basketball players on the court, but are also outstanding scholars who are excelling academically.
Team Sol travels out of town regularly to participate in competitive tournaments. So far we have played in countless local tournaments and tournaments in Hampton, VA and in Fairfield, NJ and our travel season is just beginning! There are many more out of town dates quickly approaching to the following cities- Cincinnati, Ohio; Raleigh, North Carolina; Frederick, MD; and Las Vegas, Nevada for Nationals.
Our girls have worked so hard on and off the court to prepare for the AAU season and we don't want the lack of funds to be the reason for any player to be unable to travel with the team.
Please support Team Sol's 5th Grade Girls' National Basketball Team during this journey. ALL monies raised will help to defray the costs for lodging, transportation, food, and any other team necessities.
