Help Maya Walk Again

My name is Emma and I am raising money for my sisters loving family companion, Maya.

Maya, is not just a dog. She is a lively, loving member of the family, and is in urgent need of your help because unfortunately she landed herself with a devastating injury that has left her stuck in bed, unable to walk and her spirit diminished. Her once-energetic spirit now dimmed by pain and confusion.

The vet has assured that with surgery and rehabilitation, Maya has an excellent chance of walking, running, and playing again. But this lifeline comes at a cost—a cost this family simply cannot afford on their own. The treatment comes with a steep cost of €2,500, with your help, Maya will be able to walk again in no time.

Maya is not just a pet; she is family. Since being rescued from a previously abusive life in Australia, she has brought years of unconditional love, joy, and comfort to my sister and brother-in-law. After rescuing her in Australia, they then brought her back to Ireland with them. She has been there for them when they laughed, cried, as they built their family and moved back to the other side of the world.

Whether it’s greeting everyone with a wagging tail or snuggling up on the couch, Maya has always been there. Well, except for when she gets off lead, and runs to her hearts content, but unfortunately she can't do that anymore.

Without the funds for treatment, Maya will not be able to walk again.
