Julie's Medical Fund

Two weeks ago, our good friend Julie Lougee went to the ER with what she thought was just a worse than normal migraine, but after a CT scan they found multiple blood clots in her brain. She spent over a week in the hospital (including several days in ICU) while they monitored and treated these clots.  While her condition is treatable, the clots could take several weeks to fully dissipate.  In that time, Julie will be taking it easy and trying to get back to her normal life, as much as possible.  It is a true miracle that they were able to catch this condition and we thank God every day that we still have this firecracker with us!

 

There has been a flood of people asking how they can help or if there is anything she needs, and we have struggled to find a way to truly help her. . . (We thank everyone for their continued support and thoughts of concern!) Aside from the phone calls and hugs, what we can do for her is pull together as much funding as we can, so she can start to chip away at the medical bills as they come in.  The hospital did a wonderful job taking care of our Julie, but it will come at a price.  We want her to be able to get back to her life and enjoy her beautiful boys without having to worry about these enormous bills.  Every little bit will help.  All that we raise will go directly to Julie (minus the percentage to GFM).
