Around 2am, the eldest kiddo and myself each got up and starting wandering the house to figure out why it smelled like burning and why our rooms were smoky.
Long story short, the 2 firetruck units concluded this blower in our HVAC unit had burned out. Sent this smelly, misty smoke throughout the first and second floors.
I am extremely privileged (and I know that!) that the HVAC company came out today, and can install a new everything tomorrow.
I’m paying $10K tomorrow, and by god I could *really* use help since this was so unexpected.
Again, recognition of privilege here, in that I’m
moving some stuff around to fit this on a credit card. Not really great.
