Smokey's Tri-Pawd Surgery
Donation protected
Smokey was rescued from a high kill shelter in California, on June 29, 2016. I planned to foster him, but instead adopted this sweet senior boy so he could take his freedom ride that day from the shelter. Smokey had MCT, mast cell tumors, which were removed shortly after arriving in Kanab Utah. He still has MCT but I manage the cancer.
In February of this year, he started limping. After x rays and an exam he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. The cancer is localized in his shoulder area, so far. I currently have Smokey on two pain meds to manage the pain. He continues to be in pain from the bone cancer and carries his front leg. I have made the decision to have amputation surgery to give Smokey more quality of life for the time he has.
Thank you in advance for your donation to help my sweet Smokey feel better with the amputation surgery.
Lots of love, Justyne & Smokey
