Help SupportThe Villalpando Family

Hello all, I am sure many of you know Greg and Crystal Villalpando and there beautiful daughters Ciara and Kadence. If you dont you truly are missing out on meeting pure, kind hearted, genuine loving people. I have known Crystal for about five years from my big sister Vicki. Crystal has stepped in my life and also taken the role of becoming a big sister to me as well. Recently they have been facing the most unplanned, unexpected times of their lives. Some people will never even have to experience half of the hardship they have gone through:( Almost two years ago they decided to leave there loved ones to be able to experience a new life in Prescott Valley Arizona. They LOVED it! A week before Thanksgiving 2014 Greg became very ill from an auto immune disease called Lichen Planus. He was diagnosed when 18 years old "now 33" but NEVER full force like this outbreak. This is something that many do not know about and is hereditary in his family. Just this year his 7 year old Ciara was also diagnosed. While in Arizona he was declining very rapidly and was forced to be bed ridden due to layers and layers of skin falling off and have nothing but open sores and waiting for new skin to grow. He spent Christmas day in the Arizona emergency and was only strong enough to watch his children quickly open santa presents. Not only was this extremely painful, but with the lack of knowledge on this specific disease he was pushed away by many doctors. This began to take a huge toll not only physically but mentally as well. Crystal also was in rough shape trying to keep one foot forward. In January 2015 greg was in very serious condition and it was highly important to leave Arizona and be close to family in such a devastating time. They rented a 10x10 storage unit in AZ. and packed both cars they had which fit just there clothes and drove the 2,500 miles to Michigan. Since being here they have been staying with Gregs mother and step dad Rob and Karen Medrano. He has been hospitalized also transported to Henry Ford due to bleeding internally and extreme low white blood cell count. Since January it has been issue after issue due to he is the second worst case known of this auto immune disease. As of now 4/22/2015 Greg has been in Lapeer in the progressive care unit due to a blood clot on his lung which is a result of very high doses of steroids to treat his Lichen Planus. He has since been battling a fever that has went as high as 104 degrees and now has pneumonia. His left lung is full of fluid but as of now the right lung is completely clear. He is also on oxygen due to shortness of breath.  I am not looking to make Greg and Crystal rich by any means. I am simply trying to reach out to family, friends, and our community to help a family that is really truly in need. Greg has a very long recovery road ahead of him and it will be some time before he will be able to work again. Crystal wants to try and start looking for work asap but has put a delay due to not wanting to lose her job because of doctor visits, hospital stays, etc. I am just trying to step up like a little sister would and help as much as I can. They dont have an extreme amount of bills at this time due to living with Gregs parents, but some bills you just cant avoid:( Along with not only daily expenses but also the many travels back and forth to get to these appointments. The have exhausted every penny of the little funds they did have and that was also including pawning crystals wedding ring for gas to come to Michigan and also leaving everything they own in Arizona:(. I completely understand if you may not be able to help them at this time but a quick share on your facebook and a prayer is highly appreciated:) Thank you ALL for the taking the time to read about people that I care about so much and have always been there any times I were in need!!
