Smithville Boat Hit & Run - Help Kassanavoid Kids

On Saturday, August 21, 2021, Joe Kassanavoid and his 3 young children joined the Brende's on their boat at Smithville lake for the day. What was meant to be a fun filled day to end their summer before heading back to school turned in to a day no one on that boat will forget. Another boat completely disregarded the safety and well being of the these children and their parents as it hurled toward them at 30 mph while their boat was sitting still. The parents instinctively protected their children and in doing so received injury, one of which lost an ear. One of the children received staples in her head. All funds gathered through this platform will be used for the medical bills, including trauma therapy, and cost of living for Joseph and his children while they recover. Prayers for healing and peace are also needed. Thank you!
