Smiling Through Adversity

Hi, my name is Patrina. I am fundraising for the Kendrick family. They have hit hard times. Mr. Kendrick has tried to hold his family financially after his wife came down with covid-19 then not to long after having to have surgery. Causing her to be out of work for more than six months. Caring for her and ensure their children were still on track with their schooling and or extracurricular activities.

To add insult to injury, he ended up with covid-19 causing him to miss work, then his hours were cut and now the employer is talking about lay offs. So, not only did his family loose one income, the family is now on a threat of loosing two. My God!!! and he is still holding a smile through it all.

Sometimes you have to smile to keep from crying. If a tear fall from his eyes, let it be from the joy of all of those who choose to help a man that is trying to help his family.

Monies that are raised will go to catching up household bills. Rent, utilities, etc.

Helping this family is greatly appreciated, we are looking to raise $3500 to get them back on track by November 30, 2021.

All during this time, I haven't seen him without a smile on his face and saying "all is well". That is encouraging to me, to see him not falter on how he treat others still lifting them up in his time of adversity. This is humbleness at it's best....
