Smiley's Battle For Health

Hello everyone! This Go Fund Me account has been created for our brother Ismael "Smiley" Rodriguez. Several months ago, Smiley was diagnosed with auto-immune hepatitis to the liver. As many know, Smiley has lived in Austin for over 20 years, working as a facilities service project manager for Samsung. Due to his condition, which caused chronic fatigue, pain, and weight loss, he was no longer able to continue in his role at work. At this time we still unsure if he will ever be able to return back to a life he once knew. He made the decision to relocate to the Rio Grande Valley to continue his medical treatments, and begin recovery. If you have ever dealt with an unexpected disease or illness, you know how challenging the financial burdens can be. Any amount of financial support will go to help cover the medical expenses that he has incurred up to this point.

We want to thank everyone personally for your donations. It is a very hard thing to watch our brother suffer mentally along with his health. He was always the light of the family gatherings, and we pray for a full healing.
