In 2014 Moire was diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma. Unfortunately this cancer is incurable and she will face a long journey to try and get the cancer back to a manageable state. She has done many treatments over the years, and in March of this year she was given the all clear by her oncologist. First time since starting treatment in 2014. In May of this year, Moire started noticing signs and symptoms that her cancer might have returned. With birthdays and your end celebrations for her children, Moire opted to hold off going to the doctors. Moire went to the oncologist in late June, and unfortunately, the next step in her treatment because it did come back she must start chemotherapy. Moire will start her new adventure this week. Unfortunately, the chemo must be given in a hospital based setting so she will be traveling to the hospital for a 4 hour and 40 minute infusion. This will start a long road of treatments to try and keep her cancer and in check. Although she knows this won’t be easy her sense of humor and smile hasn’t left.
