On August 9, 2024 the Agape Community Dental clinic had its first Grand Opening. Our mission is to provide emergency dental care to the underserved community in Texas Hill Country. In our first two days of service, we were able to help treat 113 patient’s dental needs, which ended up totaling over $132,000!

Even with a successful grand opening and on going operation, there are still hundreds of others out here seeking dental needs. Over 350 patients are on the waitlist, with many more being added! Seeing how this clinic works tirelessly day and night to provide emerging dental treatment, my team and I recognized a gap that needed to be filled.

With the help of several other friends who witnessed their grand opening, we instantly knew we had to give back to the clinic and community. We grasped the vision of the clinic and wanted to be a part of a greater mission, but didn’t know where to start. Through collaborative teamwork, we came up with an initiative.

With the clinic already gaining traction from the Burnett area and a new building in motion, it’s only a matter of time before we run out of funds. With the combined efforts of the Smiles For Texas Team, Austinites, and dental advocates around the state of Texas, we look to expand and support agape for future, current, and past patients, waiting to get a new smile.
