Let's Help Anthony Smile & Shine Again!

Hi, my name is Tom Dobson and I've started this "Smile & Shine" fundraiser for our dear friend, neighbor and Apache Shores community member Anthony. When we first moved to the Apache Shores here in Austin, TX, Anthony was one of the first neighbors that we met and boy could his smile light up a room- and like many of us, I've grown to love that smile.
Approximately 6 months ago, Anthony had an unfortunate slip and fall accident at home on a rock tile floor that left him with a broken wrist, black eye(s) and missing all of his top front teeth. Since then he has been battling insurance companies and has been denied twice, leaving him and his family to pay for reconstructive surgery out of pocket. Their reasoning? Apparently because when he was 17 he had a tooth replaced due to a baseball incident and that qualified as "surgery". Yet this current situation is being viewed solely as cosmetic. Now I don't know about you, but I feel there is nothing cosmetic about this. If a picture says a thousand words, then the smiles in it speak a million.
SO, I am here to ask all of us to come together for Anthony and pitch in what you can to help a man that would give the shirt off his back just to see you smile. We all spend a lot of money on countless material items that at the end of the day we never really need, but right now this one of a kind guy needs us. Please help me raise what we can so Anthony can have his life, laugh and confidence back to where it belongs... Smiling & Shining!
