Smile for Simeon
Simeon had an infectious smile that really lit up the room and brightened people’s lives. We sadly lost him, very suddenly, on Monday, 30 March. He was so full of life and his sense of humour was and still is a joy to behold.
Simeon was a very popular young man within the community and his kind hearted nature always shone through. He had the unique ability to see a persons issue and always wanted to help them out by whatever means. He had dreams of a career in the RAF and was a member of the ATC at 1211 Squadron based in Swadlincote. He planned to do an apprenticeship with the RAF after completing his GCSE’s next year.
No one prepares for the loss of someone especially so young, which is why I am setting up this page on behalf of Simeon’s parents to help with the cost of the funeral. Any extra funds will be donated equally to various charities chosen by the family.
A poem, written by Simeon's Father:
S is for the smiles you shared with everyone
I is for the impact we're left with now you're gone
M is for the memories we'll cherish very dearly
E is for everyone's lives you affected oh so clearly
O is for the one of a kind uncle, brother and son
N is not to forget how you made our lives such fun
Together we have Simeon we can never forget his smile
Big hugs in heaven now, we'll see you in a little while
Charities: NSPCC/ Stem4/Mind/YoungMinds - we would split any extra funds between these four charities as well as others the family has considered.
Thank you for your support.
