We are saddened to announce that Sam has passed away. It was a shock as her sickness progressed faster than ever imagined and could not be reversed. Our family is beyond devastated. In lieu of flowers, the family requests all donations be given for the girls' (Christy and Grayson) College Fund.

Sam, Sammi Sunshine, GrandSam, Mom.... this strong independent lady goes by many names. She has a zest for life, is passionate, and very generous to others in need. Well, now Sam is in need.
A few days ago, when I went to visit Sam in the hopsital, she was far from that ambitious, spunky, powerful lady we all know, love, and appreciate. She is in pain, away from her family (and dogs), and has no answers as to what exactly is wrong ,how to make her well again, or when she can go home. Sam has been in the hospital for about a month now. She went in not feeling well, thinking she was having heart problems. The latest update is that she has a very rare disease called Light Chain Deposition Disease LCDD.
Prayers are so needed at this time. Please continue to pray for answers, healing, guidance, strength, and a miracle.
My dad and family depended on Sam's income, which is now nonexistent. The extra costs are adding up and very stressful to my dad and family. Hospital parking, meals, gas, and so much more! My dad, Andy, is always there to help others in need. He is the last person to ask for help, but needs your help now. Since he will not ask for help, I will for him. Any amount will help offset the additional hospital costs.
