SMELLS LIKE SOAP SHORT FILM

Hello everyone!

My name is Indica DeRose. I am a Junior Narrative Film Production student at Cal State Long Beach. I am the writer and director of Smells Like Soap (2024). The film is a queer horror short and it will be taking inspiration from The Love Witch (2016), Pearl (2022), and Marie Antoinette (2006). I am excited to collaborate with my peers and create something extraordinary with your help.

My goal with this fundraiser is to obtain enough money to cover the location fee, production design and feed my crew.

Smells Like Soap is about a young woman who will do anything to prove her love to her wife, even if it means murder.
