Growing and making wine up north above the 58th parallel should not be possible, not really. I'm not saying that we are the only ones trying to do it, but we are a dwindling few battling the climate for our passion. It takes 3-5 years for a vine to establish itself and become productive, and at our latitude, it is easy to lose your harvest due to frost and cold summers.
