Ricomincio da me

There can't be my photo in this campaign, because that's what I am now: a faceless woman.

Three years ago I had to run away from my house with my girls. We left in a hurry, without bringing anything, with only the clothes we were wearing.

Who are we for society? Women fleeing from "difficult" husbands and fathers.

Since that day we have been living in hiding, waiting for the law to take its course.

I often hear myself say "You took the right steps" or "You did well, you left before something terrible happened". But in reality I was simply afraid and today it's the same: I'm still afraid!

Hidden life is terribly difficult. You can't have a real home, you just rely on friends and relatives. Everything has to change all the time, from work to school to the doctor to the places you usually go to.

In these years I have remained hidden in my corner, without exposing myself. I had to refuse interviews and invitations to conferences on violence against women.

But now I have decided to rebuild happiness for myself and my daughters.

In part it is a must because my father, my greatest support, my best ally has fallen ill and lost his job, now he needs to focus on himself, on his health and can certainly not continue to live anonymously ... so I am forced to change house again and I would like it to be A REAL HOME. Our house, not just a place of support.

I found one to rent, in a safe place, but despite the help of loved ones, I find myself with new expenses to face and many debts to pay. That's why I decided to create this fundraiser, I would like to start again from me, for me and my girls these are the links to the articles that a writer has written about my story
