SMASHMOUTH WRESTLING MAT FUNDRAISER

We are raising funds for Smashmouth Wrestling Club to buy their own mats. Wrestling has been a passion that makes my heart beat stronger. The sport and the people in it have taught me so much that I carry with me to this day. I was about 17 when I started coaching and passing down the lessons and life skills that I have learned to the youth and that is what makes it all worthwhile for me. The ups, the downs, and the not so sures build so much more than a wrestler, they build successful, persevering human beings. Unfortunately I have lost my mat space and am attempting to raise funds to purchase our own. A set of mats run at around $1000. My club does NOT charge the children to participate aside from in sweat equity and hard work and we would do anything to keep it this way, no potential wrestler should be turned away due to lack of ability to pay.

This club is essentially a two man operation operating out of a garage but much like in a wrestling match, just because you're down doesn't mean you're out.
