Smashing Mirrors Theatre was established in 2017 by Elizabeth Godber to produce new musicals and issue-based theatre in East Yorkshire.
Since then, the company has gone on to do two national tours with their dementia-awareness musical "Three Emos", run a sell-out musical about Hollywood starlet Dorothy Mackaill at Hull New Theatre, perform a dementia awareness play to school children across East Yorkshire with "The Memory Project" supported by Dementia Friendly East Riding and perform a sell-out Christmas show at Hull City Hall.
In 2020 the company produced a variety of online content streamed through Facebook Premiere, which collectively reached over 10,000 people. This was only made possible by generous donations from our supporters.
We are a small theatre company, and we really do value every donation and piece of support we receive.
