In September 2020, Kevin Smets was diagnosed with Stage 3 colorectal cancer. He was diagnosed two weeks before the birth of his daughter. If you know Kevin, his reaction didn't surprise:

"This cancer is NOT deciding when my time is. I will fight this thing. I will see my daughter grow into an amazing woman. I will be the husband I vowed to be."

With a fight on his hands, Kevin's very focused on healing. Should this take a toll on his income and livelihood, he shouldn't have to be concerned about it, which is why Kevin's circle of friends is encouraging donors to give Kevin a financial support structure so he and his family will never have to worry. 

Let's pitch in to take care of the new and urgent costs Kevin faces. Let's not have him flinch if it costs extra to see a medical specialist, let's make it easy for him to buy dinner if he misses work, and let's show him how much we love the guy.
