SmartBoards for Weekday Nursery School

As Weekday's enrollment has grown with the addition of more classrooms, we are trying to raise money to purchase 2 new SMARTBoards. A SMARTBoard is an interactive whiteboard that enhances classroom learning.
This past school year students have used the SMARTboard to learn new music and dance, taken virtual trips to museums and zoos, visited with community workers such as bee keepers and pilots, and shared photos from home to make a home school connection.
Using technology in the classroom helps to motivate students and increase their understanding. Our teachers continue to find exciting and innovative ways to incorporate technology into everyday lessons thus preparing our students for a successful transition to Kindergarten.
Next year Weekday will be adding a 9th classroom, increasing our commitment to educate Universal Pre-Kindergarten students. We would love to add 2 new SMARTBoards, with software and mobile stands so they may be used by all of our students in all of our classrooms.
