As a British trained Ukrainian born Consultant Anaesthetist, I can assess the current needs of the hospitals and provide them with equipment and disposables they need for looking after their patients.

SMART Medical Aid needs your donations to help the war victims in Ukraine. SMART Medical Aid provides medical aid: we collect medical equipment and supplies for hospitals and medical staff in the affected areas, we provide training courses and assist in evacuations of wounded children.
We are a charity and rely on the generous donations of individuals, charities, governmental agencies and other organisations. We work closely with Ukrainians in the war zone to tailor our aid to the actual needs.
SMART Medical Aid has been present in Ukraine since 2014 when the war first started. In the spring 2022, when the Russians started their full-scale war, we started to work from the city of Lviv in West-Ukraine. A team of volunteers under the leadership of consultant anaesthetist Iryna Rybinkina works every day to acquire donations and respond to support requests from the affected areas. So far, we have received and distributed medical equipment such's as first aid kits, anaesthetic machines, ambulances and radiology equipment worth millions. We have trained hundreds of people in essential lifesaving skills. We have assisted in the evacuation of many wounded children by providing doctors and paramedic teams for transportation and arranging treatment outside Ukraine.
Our fundraising is coordinated by a registered charity (ANBI) in the Netherlands under the name of Stichting SMART Medical Aid. More information about our activities can be found at our website or our Facebook page. Visit www.smartmedicalaid.org or www.facebook.com/smartmedicalaid to learn more.
