Smart Class Project in India

 Many of us are blessed to have high quality education. We have the best teachers , great infrastructure and the best technology to deliver basic education. However, many others in rest of the world don’t have this privilege. In fact, according to humanium.org, around 72 million primary school children are not educated and 759 million adults are illiterate. I want to do my bit to correct this disparity.
            I come from a family who takes education very seriously. My goal is to instill this ideology in others. In this project, my goal is to give underprivileged, village kids access to technology based education with certified teachers, a concept of smart-class which provides chairs for all the students as well as one computer and a projector to access expert teachers of various subjects who may not be available locally through Skype or similar models. The cost of this project is approximately $4000. The money I will raise will go to the school through NNPR charitable trust which is already helping the school for the past many years . I had the chance to see this first hand during my trip to India last year . The school is in need of this and has requested for help. I hope you will consider my request to contribute to this very important cause.
