Friend’s small business damaged by lightning storm

For the past year my friend, Wendy, has put so much time, effort, creativity, and her life savings into renovating a building for her new business space. Unfortunately the business was underinsured, and she lost everything she put into the business when it was recently struck by lightning -  causing the building to catch on fire. 

Wendy is shocked and unsure of what to do at this point.  Anyone affected by fire is already under incredible amounts of stress. Wendy has always been fiercely independent and doesn’t like to burden anyone. I am setting up this fundraiser because I don’t want her to feel like she has to struggle alone.
