Small Town - A Short Film Production
Hey everyone! I'm Rhianna, the creative director of Zion Studios! This is my 5th short film in development and I am so excited to bring a powerful, relatable story to the screen. We are an Award-winning film company, looking to challenge societal narratives, with a focus on collaboration with artists around the Midlands, as I believe there is so much untapped potential in the region, that needs to be given a platform.
The story:
'Small Town' is a Romance Drama about two young people 'Dean' and 'Maisie.' They are a year into a relationship, when gradual internal circumstances begin to derail the love they have for each other. Unable to let her in to his battles, Maisie begins to lose hope in their relationship and seeks advice from those closest to her. Dean looks to escape in other ways.
'Small Town' is a humanist approach to exploring the hearts of people, flaws and the light that entangles us, whilst the characters take us on a journey of internal battle and personal revelations.

A personal note from the Producer:
After spending the last 4 years, self funding my passion projects, I have finally decided to reach out to the wider world, to ask for your support in helping fund this new film. The most recent film release has had distinguishable wins in Los Angeles Film awards, Top shorts and Athens film festival for 'Best Indie short', Best original script' and 'Best narrative.' With your help, It would mean I can continue to build new projects and bring important stories to screen.
The money raised will cover payment for cast and crew, which would mean we could adhere to industry standards. It would also cover props, costume, location hire, general expenses and production costs. We would also submit the finished film to a variety of film festivals, to increase the exposure and marketing of the film. Having funding for this project would be a creative springboard in ways that would set a promising growth for the future.
