Help a Retired Educator Launch a Micro School in Northern Virginia planning 2026 Fall start date!
Hello, and thank you for visiting my campaign!
I’m a retired educator with decades of experience in the classroom, and I’m starting a new journey — one rooted in passion, purpose, and possibility. I’m seeking your support to plan and open a private Micro School in Northern Virginia, beginning with grades 3–5.
Why a Micro School?
Many students today need smaller, more personalized learning environments where they are seen, heard, and empowered to thrive. A Micro School offers just that — low student-to-teacher ratios, flexible curriculum options, and a focus on both academic excellence and emotional well-being.
My Mission
To create a safe, supportive, and enriching educational space where every child receives the individual attention they deserve. I aim to:
• Serve students in grades 3rd to 5th in a nurturing, small-group setting.
• Build a curriculum rooted in literacy, STEM, creativity, and real-world learning.
• Prioritize diversity, equity, inclusion, and innovation.
Where and When?
The school will be based in Northern Virginia, with a target launch date within the next 12–18 months.
How Funds Will Be Used
Your contribution will help with:
• Planning and curriculum development
• Legal and licensing costs
• Leasing classroom space
• Purchasing learning materials and technology
• Hiring support staff and consultants
