Small effort to clean up the mighty Everest

Dear All,

It has been a childhood dream of mine to conquer the mighty Himalayas. After reality checks , I have settled down to do a 18 day trek to Everest Base Camp. It still has its extreme challenges - the unpredictable weather , rough and rugged terrains, demanding altitude, the physical and mental endurance. For me , it will be as good as conquering the peak !

However, as I prepared for this adventure, I was struck by an unfortunate reality—our world’s highest mountains are drowning in waste. Abandoned trekking gear, human waste, and even the remains of lost climbers scar these breathtaking landscapes. The harsh conditions make cleanup nearly impossible, yet one organization is leading the charge: The Nimsdai Foundation. Their Big Mountain Cleanup initiative is restoring the Himalayas to their natural beauty, removing tons of waste left behind by past expeditions.
