Small Business Support for NYSN During Covid 19

Since 2004 The New York Social Network has been hosting events in and around NYC to bring people together for friendships, connections, networking, charitable causes and relationships.  It was a passion for founder Dave Cervini that turned into his full time job.  Until the Pandemic we hosted an average of 30 events a month with a shoe string budget. Our focus is to provide affordable experiences that bring people together while just covering our costs.  During this time of crisis we are basically shut down and trying to host as many opportunities as possible online but it is not enough to cover our operating expenses, salaries and contracts that we are stuck in.    Our ability to continue when this is over is in jeopardy.  We have had to cancel over 100 events and trips where we will lose thousands of dollars in deposits already paid due to the businesses that we contracted with closing.  With your help we can ride this out until we can bring people together again! The funds donated will help us pay off contracts we can't get out of, pay staff, send refunds to those who were registered for events and trips and to support Dave and his family so his work may continue after the crisis.  We have applied for the SBA relief fund but it only provided $1,000.
