I am hosting this fundraiser for an individual that is an Entrepreneur, Small Business Owner, Mother, friend and loved one to many. She has always been independent, strong, and a great person. 

This time last year she took a leap of faith and decided to open up a small business in Sonoma County. She is a resident of the county and a mother to a son who attends elementary school locally. Her son is active in sports and they are contributors to their community in many ways. This business was a huge step for her professionally and also for her family.

During this unprecedented time she had to close down her business temporarily due to the posing pandemic that has quickly swept across the world, county, state and our counties. Although this pandemic has effect millions of people this particular person is being hugely impacted. Being a small business owner with no employees her small business does not fit the criteria for many grants and support being offered currently.

As a family member I naturally want to rally around her and show her that she has support. My cousin, Megan Sutton has always been someone I have looked up to in life. I am choosing to host this sponsorship for her. I am asking that if anyone can donate, please donate. Even if the amount may seem small a contribution of $25.00 from each family member and friends could mean that when this is all over Megan will continue to rent her business location as well as the home that puts a roof over her sons head.

To support just her utilities and rent it is roughly $3,000.00 monthly. Again, this is for both her home and her business space. To all my family and her family, if you can find it in your heart to donate I will make sure she receives all donations so she can continue to keep her dream alive as well as provide for her son. Let’s show her the unwavering support of her family, her friends, and her community.
