Small business owner battle with Acromegaly

Hello, my name is Tom Cinelli, my wife Carly has been living with pain for almost 10 years. We have gone to various doctors over the years without any real answers of what was causing her pain. Carly and I own a small pizzeria in Rochester, Ny called Cinellis Pizza and Italian Kitchen at 741 maiden ln. Anyone that knows Carly knows that she is the happy smile that our customers see when they enter our pizzeria. She always is able to dig deep and force a smile, even though she may have been in a lot of pain. Recently, on Easter Sunday April 9th of this year (just so happened to be Carly birthday) Carly complained of an unrelenting headache. I took her to the Emergency Room. They gave her prednisone and a CT scan. The headache did eventually go away but her vision issues and eye pressure has remained. The Ct scan showed signs of a potential tumor. We followed with an MRI with contrast and they were able to confirm that Carly has a non-cancerous tumor on her pituitary gland. Carly also had elevated levels of human growth hormone and Prolactin hormone. Confirming that Carly has a disease called Acromegaly. The only cure is to remove the tumor with surgery. Acromegaly is a rare condition caused by a tumor on the pituitary gland. This disease causes bones and organs to constantly grow. Carly has increased 4 shoe sizes and grew 2.5 inches in height over the last 10 years. Her wedding ring had to be cut off last year during a carpal tunnel surgery, which we now realize was caused by her acromegaly. This surgery will put Carly out of work for 4-6 weeks. I will be caring for Carly so with the two of us gone we will have to close our restaurant for that duration. At the restaurant we have a lot of reoccurring bills that will still be due whether we are open or not like rent, insurance, Electric and phone bill, and most importantly we want to continue to pay our employees salaries while we are closed. if anyone wants to help us pay these expenses while Carly has her surgery and has time to rest and recuperate. If all goes well we will be back making delicious NY style pizza and Italian food and other vegan and gluten free entrees!
