Small Business Fire Recovery - Eggology Cafe

Hi everyone,

Eggology Cafe is just shy of our one year anniversary but it seems that many success stories are unfortunately incomplete without trials and tribulations. This past week, one of those trials occurred at Eggology Cafe that could’ve cost the lives of members on our team. On Wednesday June 6th, a fire occurred on site. Thankfully no one was hurt but equipment we invested in are damaged and memories we made are buried. This beautiful restaurant is temporarily closed and we know this is a time to grow. However, our team has a family to feed, children to send to school, bills to pay, and themselves to take care of. Insurance can only cover the cost of damages excluding payroll and our tipped employees. In order to celebrate the milestone everyone has been working hard to see, we MUST be able to support these staff members who have been with us since day one.

Please consider donating to help cover the costs as a result of this tragedy as the management team works to rebuild. While we may have set a fundraising goal, our ultimate goal is to get back on our feet, working alongside our friends, and serving our happy customers in our beautiful restaurant again soon. It sounds cliche but, yes, even a dollar is incredibly helpful as well as sharing this fundraiser with those who you know have a heart to give.
