On March 20th, Edwin and Taylor received heartbreaking news that their sweet boy, Elijah (18 months), had a brain tumor and would have to undergo surgery in just a few short days. Thankfully, on March 23rd, his surgery was very successful as they were able to remove most/possibly all of the tumor. Elijah is still recovering from surgery and undergoing PT and OT sessions each day. Unfortunately, Elijah's tumor was deemed  cancerous. He will begin chemotherapy and other treatments in the next few days leaving them in and out of the the hospital for the foreseeable future (possibly 6-8 months).

Elijah's path to recovery and healing still has a long road ahead and many uncertainties still remain. 

While we have full belief in God's healing hands, we know times like this can take a village. It is our hopes to take some financial burden off of the family at this time, so they can continue to focus on Elijah and the journey ahead. Contributions will help the family with medical bills, making up for the time they have had to take a leave off of work, meals, etc.
