As many of you are aware on September 2, 2015, Rick suffered a heart attack requiring him to undergo open heart surgery.  After 9 days, Rick remains in the surgical ICU due to complications with his respiratory system.  To allow him additional time to recover, he will likely remain in the SICU through the end of this week.

We know many of you would love to come visit Rick (and he would LOVE to see each of you) but in his still fragile state, the hospital has suggested we limit visitors until he is out of the SICU.  His amazing team of doctors and nurses are attending to his every need, around the clock.  With their continued care, we hope Rick will be feeling better and ready for visitors soon. 

As friends and family, we all want to support Rick in any way we can.  Not only will he be faced with a lengthy medical road to recovery, but we expect he will also suffer significant medical expenses, as well as a loss of income. Our goal in setting up this fund is simply to help lighten his financial load so Rick can focus on the road to recovery ahead of him.  Any donation, word of encouragement, share, or prayer is valued greatly.
