SLUT CHAIN - Short Film

What’s the worst date you’ve ever been on? Slut Chain explores what happens when a young woman’s date continues to bulldoze past her boundaries — leading her to accidentally kill him.

Jennifer Gouchoe is the writer, producer, and co-lead actress of Slut Chain. Throughout her time at Sarah Lawrence College, she worked on a number of short films, and spent a year training in on-camera performance at Prague Film School. She is continuing her training at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio, and her latest self-produced short, Two Guardians, is currently in post-production.

Natalie Brown is the director of Slut Chain and a recent graduate of Chapman University, Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. Her half-hour pilot, SIDE EFFECTS MAY INCLUDE, was officially selected in the Portland Comedy Film Festival and was a finalist in the Independent Cinema Showcase. Natalie loves directing experimental, slice-of-life shorts from a female-driven perspective, and is excited to direct a film that comments on the shared experiences of women through comedy.

Caleb Garrett is an award-winning director of photography based in Los Angeles. His varied shooting styles and adaptable lighting approach have been applied to several genres of narrative and documentary films. Natalie and Caleb’s work flow and creative process is tried and true, as they have collaborated on several projects together. Abby Neuschatz is the producer of Slut Chain. While at Brown University, she produced, assistant directed, and edited several short films, and her most recent short, Toxic, is currently in post-production. She works on the Content Strategy team at Netflix, and has previous experience in both Production and Development at ViacomCBS and JAX Media.

Kayla Fast is the co-lead actress of Slut Chain. She is classically trained, super talented, and has impeccable music taste. Although she is currently based in Los Angeles, she wishes she was in New York because her heart belongs to the theatre. She is currently training at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio.
