Sluder family recover from losing home to fire

Mark Sluder woke up at around 3am on January 13th and started to head out to the living room. Upon opening the bedroom door, smoke started bellowing into the room and he could see flames throughout his house. He quickly gathered his wife and daughter and exited the home. His daughter began screaming for the family dog Udo, he was still in the house. Mark ran back in, found Udo on the bed afraid. He tried to get him to come and let him pick him up, but sadly Udo was too afraid and kept pulling away from Mark. Unfortunately Mark had to make the choice to leave in fear of losing his own life in the fire. Returning to his family, no shoes, little clothes, no coats, all they could do was watch the home they raised their kids in burn. The family dog lost to the fire, possessions destroyed, clothes burned, they looked through the fire after the fireman left in hopes of finding anything….. but it was gone. This was how the Sluder family spent the morning.

The Sluders are good friends of mine, and are family to me. I am making this gofundme with their blessing to help raise money for them to help them in this rough time. They will have to start all over again from the ground up, and its not going to be an easy road. They have a hotel for a couple of nights, but after that it is unknown where they will go or what they will do. Any help in this time of need is appreciated, and all funds will go towards clothes, food, basic necessities, a hotel and start the path to a new home.
