Mike Purdy's Going Home Party

Many of you know Mike Purdy, aka "Slow Mike", and the impact he had on so many. For those who may not know, he was a generous man who gave everything he had for his community and his "Brothers and Sisters in the Spirit" and dedicated himself to being of help to those in need. Mike did not have much in this world but he leaves a legacy of love & service. In order to celebrate his life & pay tribute to this great man we need to raise at least $3000. Any donations left over will go to the Independence Club, per Mike's wishes. We will need to collect enough money to cover his cremation & transport, an obit in the Washington Post, and any food & venue costs for his memorial service.
