Hey friends! Some of you know, some of you don’t, but Jessica and I are opening a pizza place, well trailer (@slowdoughpizzaco)—and we need your help to get to the finish line!
About six months ago we bought a mobile kitchen/trailer and have been having it customized for the last few months. We had hoped to be open by now but supply chain issues have absolutely killed us! We are finally in the home stretch, all we are waiting on is for it to arrive from Tennessee, and to purchase our last few key items!
We’d love for you to share our story and help us work toward our open date this spring.
Slow Dough Pizza Co. is an ingredient and chef-driven pizza and simple food trailer that will be located in the parking lot of Upper Falls Liquors at 150 Needham Street in Newton using only naturally leavened slow dough and premiere seasonal ingredients
Jessica and I are a husband-and-wife team who have grinded it out in restaurants for the last 15 years! The relationships we have formed over the last 15 years will help us to secure the best local and seasonal products which along with our dough will be the backbone of our operation. Our dough is a slowly fermented and naturally leavened sourdough pizza.
Working on opening a restaurant on a limited budget and without venture capital or equity investors has been a challenge but we are committed to funding @slowdoughpizzaco independently to obtain full control over the product. Any amount is greatly appreciated. And we hope to be enjoying a pie with you very soon!
