Slovenia's devastating floods fundraiser

We're Pia and Liam, a Slovenian-Irish couple living in Galway, Ireland, who got married merely a year ago in the beautiful Koroška , the much-beloved region where Pia was born and grew up, and where all our Slovenian family and friends reside. It is also one of the places hit worst by the recent unprecedented floods, the effects of which are still ongoing. It is heartbreaking to hear about this utter disaster happening right now, and all the way people are impacted.

Since we're based in Ireland we can only follow the damage reports and ongoing rescue efforts from afar, hearing of more and more people having their homes flooded or even taken by the flood waters, along with all the contents. Volunteers, emergency services, fire brigades, civil defense and the army are all working tirelessly to help, however, once the immediate danger is over, there'll be only ruins left for many.

We're hoping to raise some funds to give directly to people impacted. Any funds collected will be used as emergency funds and for some basic home damage repairs. No amount is too small, and it'll help immensely for people who lost so much. Thank you.
