My Mum passed away on the 30th December 2023. I was 28 years old . I suddenly felt like life was so daunting without having any parents. I shared caring and looking after my mum with my sister for the last 3 years she was ill. I am not sure which pain is worse- the agony of what happened or the ache for what never will. I knew I wasn’t alone and it dawned on me how much of an impact this has on a child and young adults life.
I have joined the Trek Slovenia team to raise awareness for grief within children and support where we can. Please donate anything you can to help this amazing charity. This challenge will involve 3 days of trekking, 20 miles a day, through the heart of Slovenias Julian alps and Mount Vista.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
