Hi, my name is Danna. I’m raising money for my friend Sleepy. He’s been through a lot — more than most could handle — and he doesn’t have family to lean on. He never asks anyone for help, even when he really needs it, because he hates feeling like a burden. But the truth is, he isn’t.

Sleepy recently lost his leg, and his arms and hands have very little mobility. Even simple things — eating, sitting up, moving around — take everything out of him. He depends on other homeless friends to help him with basic needs, but his health has been declining fast since the amputation.

Right now, he’s fighting just to hold himself up every day. He’s barely eating, and I can see he’s losing strength. He deserves better than that.

Sleepy has always been a kind soul — a friend to everyone, no matter what he’s going through. Seeing him like this breaks my heart. I just want to get him the support he needs so he can have a little comfort, dignity, and independence again.

All I’m asking is for help getting him a proper motorized wheelchair — the Invacare TDX SP2 Rehab Power Wheelchair — so he can finally move freely and rest without constant pain and struggle.
