Sleep Walking 2024

Hi, my name is Sophia and I have been struck by the needs of the homeless. I have been influenced by my Mum, who does some great volunteer work at Freds Van, run by Vinnies as well as Oz Harvest. As well I have also been inspired by the subjects I have been studying at School -Spiritualities, Religion and Meaning, and especially the topic, ‘Community, Justice and Diversity’.

We can make a difference for people on the street, especially in these cold months. I hope you can support a bunch of enthusiastic students and teachers who will get a taste of coping outdoors in winter. They will be walking as many laps of the oval as they can until midnight on Friday, 23rd of August, and you will be sponsoring them for this great cause. We have chosen to fundraise for the Hutt Street Center which "is a place of hope and opportunity, helping people facing homelessness to rebuild their lives, without judgement."
