Sleep Out (CQ 23) - Daviesites x CAP

Dear All,

As a result of the Cost of Living crisis, homelessness has grew in considerable size over the last year. Currently, more than 231,000 people are living on the streets in the UK. Therefore, we as a house, have chosen to tackle and prevent this crisis as much as possible.

Daviesites have chosen the Cathedral Archer Project, which is located in Sheffield. For more than 30 years, it has supported thousands of people in the area. The project started because the city's industry was reduced in the 1980s, which led to unemployment, poverty and poor health.

This is the perfect opportunity for your son to get involved and make a real difference by participating in our activity which includes staying overnight at the South Africa Cloisters. Before the sleep out, we will be having a whole house barbecue with a guest speaker from the charity who will come in and share his experience with us.

This event will be taking place on Friday 28th April 2023 - the second week of CQ.
