Sled hockey /wheelchair lax equip

I'm trying to raise money to purchase my own lacrosse and hockey equipment.  By purchasing my own equipment, it allows me to participate and assist in clinics being held for other disabled or disabled veterans trying to become active.  Currently I am borrowing equipment from both teams. So when we have groups borrow our equipment i need to turn it all in so another person can try the sport. Owning my equipment means I don't need to turn it in or have to worry about getting different equipment back or someone else's sweat. It also allows me to keep 1 sled/wheelchair and it's setting permanent.  Owning my own equipment allows me to interact and participate without taking equipment away from someone to use who is borrowing. I know the equipment is expensive and as a veteran who is now disabled, I would love to inspire others just not through words, but actions. I want to help others through playing sports or just to show disabilities are only as limiting as we allow them to be. I enjoy playing and being active, but being on a fixed income from disability it has limited the funds to go to such items.  Between the Warrior Avs team and the Rolling Mammoth team, we travel for tournaments. Playing with others who have disabilities has made me feel normal and excited to be part of a team, the feeling of being part of something bigger than myself, feeling like I motivate and bring enthusiasm to others.
