Il faut un Village!

Peter et moi allons bientôt accueillir une famille ukrainienne, père, mère, fille de 4 ans et neveu de 15 ans, chez nous. La route ici était longue et la route vers un avenir sûr encore plus long. Un peu sur les nouveaux membres de notre communauté. Liudmyla était comptable senior en Ukraine mais doit apprendre l'anglais et le français. Manish parle anglais conversationnel, pas de français. Dzhenifer entrera à la maternelle en septembre et Ivan fréquentera le secondaire à l'automne. Ils auront un toit au-dessus de leur tête, au lieu de bombes et de la nourriture dans leurs estomacs. Ils commencent une nouvelle vie avec trois valises et espèrent la paix.

Tout ce que vous pourrez offrir en guise de soutien aidera cette famille à démarrer sa nouvelle vie à Sutton.

It takes a Village!

Peter and I will soon be welcoming a Ukrainian family, father, mother, 4-year-old daughter and 15-year-old nephew, to our home. The road here was long and the road to a secure future even longer. A little bit about our community’s newest members. Liudmyla was a senior accountant in Ukraine but needs to learn both English and French. Manish speaks conversational English, no French. Dzhenifer will be entering kindergarten in September and Ivan will be attending high school in the fall. Instead of bombs, they will have a roof over their heads and food in their stomachs. They are starting a new life with three suitcases and hope for peace.

Anything you can offer in support will help this family start their new life in Sutton.
