Our names are Adam Goldwater and Lorraine Slight .

On Monday 18th we found out the happiest day of our lives came to an end , as Slaters closed their doors .

We are left angry and devastated that our most exciting time / planning our special day, has come to an end in seconds as the company has gone into liquidation, which means we can not afford anywhere until we get our money back, and we have been told it’s very unlikely we will get the money back as it will be paid to pay their debts .

They were still accepting money from people until the 18th, also they haven’t even got the decency to inform us or tell us /tell the truth. We sent a huge chunk to them last month and asked for confirmation; she stated they are in the process of changing their bank details, so before sending anything, let them know, as they will provide new bank details.

But my biggest concern is getting this money back, so we had everything sorted/booked for our special day for June, but we are in a situation where we can’t afford anywhere else until we get this money back…Our wedding was going to be in June ,2026 ,and we can’t afford it unless we can get this money back
