Slater Immigration Fund

In July 2019, Danieke and Austin Slater celebrated their wedding in the U.S. Now, less than a year later, technicalities have seen Danieke's application for permanent residence in the United States denied. She will need to leave the country by the end of May. Due to COVID-19's influence and further immigration complications, Austin will not be able to join her in Canada.

Although they will have a chance to reapply, the Slaters will now be forced to spend the next year in separate countries. They will not be able to spend their birthdays together. They will not be able to spend Christmas together. They will not be able to spend their first anniversary together.

This is a couple who has poured their time, money, and prayer into their community. This is a couple that has opened their hearts and their home to those around them, reflecting Christlike generosity to the utmost degree.

If you choose to support them you would be ensuring that they can focus on their ministry to their communities, not on the financial technicalities and challenges this presents.

Practically speaking, you would be helping to cover:
-Immigration Attorney Fees
-Application Fees
-Travel Costs
 -Medical Exam
And any further financial obstacles they may encounter in this surprise journey.

Thank you for your contribution. Please continue to pray for the Slaters as they dance their way through this next minefield.
