Stage 4 Lung Cancer
We are starting a GoFundMe account for our Mother. On Friday, September, 16th 2022 she went to the hospital because of chest pains and shortness of breath for which, we thought was Covid-19. After many hours and ample amount testing, she then received the worst news of her entire life. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer with a mass taking up 3/4 of right Lung that’s filling with fluid. During this difficult time, our Mother has been in the hospital for ten days and counting. To ease the burden of expensive medical bills, treatments and loss of work, we started a GoFundMe account to help with the financial burden and stress. Currently she’s had two surgeries, countless numbers of Cat-scans, x-rays, biopsies, lab work, ambulance services and pending chemotherapy and radiotherapy this week. We know this won’t be an easy process for her by any means but we are hoping we can help keep her from worrying about the financial cost and be able to focus on every treatment available and fighting.
We are currently working on moving our mother from HCA hospital to a Moffit Cancer center to receive the best care for her treatment.
A little back story on our Mother! Robyn is the most devoted, warm-hearted, tender loving women that could bring a smile to anyone. She’s devoted 25 years of her adulthood to help serve those in her community as a nurse from serving those in the hospitals to Nursing Homes. She’s extremely passionate about her career and helping others. Our mother is someone who would truly give everything she has to anyone in need. A positive role model, nurse and mother.
She has 3 kids Kristina, a mama to 3 beautiful girls, Shelbi, a United States Marine and Alexis, United States Marine and photographer. She has an amazing husband, Robert Cruthis, a Seminole County Firefighter. And also 3 beautiful granddaughters, and a sweet baby boy on the way! She’s using the motivation of her family and friends to remain strong and positive throughout this process.
We are humbly asking for any help, from a small donation, to a shared link or a prayer, it all would mean the absolute world to our family.
During this process we will continue updating on how she is doing.
