Good morning friends and family. Today is the day that I am saying goodbye to my dear little sister. The battle is over. I never wanted to accept this day, where my sister is called home to God. She battled cancer for only one year. Her fight was short but her spirits were high and bright.
I went home for Mother's Day- what a blessing it was. I am grateful that she was able to see me as well as my pregnancy. She was able to bless my child by holding my stomach. I returned home and she passed away two days later. In honor of my baby sister, I feel it's only right to cancel my baby shower and give her a fundraiser so she can have the proper service she so desired. I love my family with all my heart I feel this is the right decision to make.
