I’m a young Black aspiring pilot chasing a dream that feels bigger than me. Every class I take and every flight I log I’m paying for out of pocket with almost no federal aid, but I keep going because I know what’s at stake. I want young people everywhere to see that we can rise just as high in the cockpit as we can on a basketball court or a football field.
